Flat Art Copy Examples
Artwork digital copy is formatted to fit inside a slide window having the standard 3:2 ratio with a black mask hiding the unused portions. When a slide is projected, the black areas will not show at all. This system is used to produce the standard cardboard-mount slides for gallery, show and school submissions. Slides are produced directly from digital files at Replicolor in Salt Lake City. Additional slides can be produced using analog film, known as "analog dupes" or "slide dupes". The additional slides can be produced digitally as well, but the cost is greater for this method.
